The creation of Circle of Excellence, has enabled local business woman, Berni Albrighton, to utilise many of her additional skills in the world of Career and Life Coaching. Already very well known in Warwickshire as the founder and Managing Director of The Agency (Coventry) Ltd, Berni Albrighton now offers training to local companies and one on one coaching to private individuals.
Berni continues on a long and intense journey of self development to put herself in a position where she can offer quality Training and Coaching. Firstly becoming a qualified NLP Practitioner in 2006, and currently studying with The Coaching Academy for a Diploma in Corporate and Executive Coaching and Training. This year also sees Berni gaining her Master Practitioner NLP/HGE.
"I have always been a very person centred individual, and spent 3 years studying Counselling, then took my A level in Psychology with the intention to work in that field. Then I decided to open The Agency and moved away from further education to concentrate on the business. Now, I have been hit by the bug! With 2 major courses to complete this year AND a new business to develop, everything looks hugely exciting!" Berni Albrighton went on to explain why she opened Circle of Excellence...
"The desire to offer training has been born out of attending many training days and weeks during my career, which no doubt cost my employers a lot of money, but very rarely taught me enough to justify being away from my desk for that period of time, sometimes I didn't learn anything new. Some of the trainers I have met in my long career have tried to be too clever, or too lazy in their preparation and delivery. It was rare to come away with even one little gem that changed my thought process and made any real impact. I was one of those people sitting there, saying to themselves, "I could do better than that" Studying for my NLP with the likes of Paul McKenna, Richard Bandler and Michael Neill gave me the tools that opened up the belief and the strong desire to go out there and promote myself to local businesses and individuals. I absolutely realise that I need to pave the way for the world to beat a path to my door."
Having developed 5 recruitment businesses from zero to profit in the past 20 years, running her own company and launching a new one, along with the many challenges she has faced in her own personal life, Berni knows she is well equipped with experience and knowledge to help small businesses who are looking to start up, assist local companies with training, and work with private individuals on personal goals and current issues that are holding them back.
